Description
Obverse-Toned Gem 1904 Half Dollar
1904 50C MS65 PCGS. Despite a mintage of close to 3 million pieces, the 1904 half dollar is a condition rarity at the Gem level, as the issue simply was not saved at the time of release. This piece has rich toning on the obverse, blue-violet at the top with a fade through rose, gold, and green, while the reverse offers faint echoes of similar color. Well-defined on the eagle's claws and strongly lustrous with a hint of satin.
