Description

1904 Barber Half Dollar, MS65+
Excessively Rare So Fine

1904 50C MS65+ PCGS Secure. Ex: Shireman. Little attention was paid to P-mint Barber half dollars issued for circulation, accounting for the rarity of Gem survivors from this period. The 1904 (nearly 3 million coins struck) is excessively rare in MS65 and finer. This fully defined representative offers frosty luster over brilliant surfaces. A loupe is required to bring minute marks into view, and they are located primarily near Liberty's mouth and in the field below stars 7 and 8. Population: 14 in 65 (2 in 65+), 7 finer (11/15).
Ex: Harry Laibstain (2/25/2006).
