1904 Half Dollar, MS66
Condition Census Quality
1904 50C MS66 NGC. The 1904 has a mintage of nearly 3
million pieces and is a type issue in most grades. Nonetheless, it
emerges as an important conditional rarity as a Gem, and the issue
becomes very rare at the MS66 level. The present Premium Gem
confirms its lofty grade, since the lustrous surfaces are
intricately struck and magnificently preserved. Both sides display
a wisp of golden patina, and a small reverse spot at 4:30 is noted
