1905 Barber Half, MS66+
Only Five Finer, CAC
1905 50C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Freckles of light gray race over
the highly lustrous surfaces of this Premium Gem Barber half. A
well executed strike leaves uniformly crisp delineation on the
design features. This nicely preserved Plus-graded example exhibits
great technical quality earning endorsement from CAC. Only a tiny
nick on Liberty's neck precludes a Superb Gem designation. The 1905
is scarce in Uncirculated grades, and PCGS reports only five
numerically finer pieces, while NGC shows none finer. PCGS
Population: 8 in 66 (3 in 66+), 5 finer (1/26).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2009), lot 2943.(Registry values: N4719)
