1905-O 50C MS66 PCGS. The 1905 Barber half dollar production in New Orleans consisted of 505,000 pieces. High-grade examples are seldom encountered. This Premium Gem is tied with five others at this grade level at PCGS, with one an MS66+, with only four finer (3/14). Strong satin luster provides this piece with a lovely appearance. Scattered toning covers large portions of the obverse, while the reverse exhibits minimal toning. The hues include teal, rich gold, and plum.(Registry values: N4719)
