Description
Patinated 1906 Barber Half, MS66
Ex: Dr. Price Collection
1906 50C MS66 PCGS. Ex: Price. This gorgeous Premium Gem
drips with luster, and exhibits blushes of olive-green,
khaki-green, yellow-gold, and reddish-gold on the obverse, and
light bluish-gray and golden-tan on the reverse. Powerfully
impressed design features contribute to the coin's fabulous eye
appeal; only the upper right corner of the shield exhibits the
usual minor softness. A faint diagonal mark on the cheekbone
prevents an even higher grade. Population: 3 in 66, 2 finer
(8/09).Ex: Dr. Thaine B. Price (David Akers, 5/1998), lot 166, which realized $8,250.(Registry values: N4719)
