Conditionally Rare CAC Coin
1906-D 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Satiny luster reveals golden
peripheral toning that frames brilliant interiors on this Premium
Gem 1906-D half. The eagle's right (facing) shoulder is weak as
usual, although elsewhere the design elements show pleasing
sharpness. The reverse of this coin alone could easily grade a
point or two finer, but a few small marks on the obverse
necessitate the MS66 level. Still, CAC approval is earned for the
eye appeal. Population: 9 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 8 in 66,
