Description
Single Finest Known 1907 Barber Half Dollar, MS67 PCGS
1907 50C MS67 PCGS. This is a beautifully toned Superb Gem with sharp obverse striking definition. Some very minor weakness shows on the eagle's right (facing) wing at the shield. Neither side reveals any mentionable abrasions, and an abundant amount of original golden-russet iridescence decorates the border areas lending a fully original appearance to this carefully preserved specimen. To date (10/03), PCGS has only certified a total of 91 Barber Half Dollars in MS67 with 9 finer. This coin is a conditionally rare representative of this otherwise easily obtainable P-mint issue, and currently unsurpassable in grade.
