Description

1907-O Half Dollar, Colorful MS66
Incredible Near-Full Strike

1907-O 50C MS66 PCGS. The 1907-O is regarded as a major strike rarity in the series, often considered the worst-struck among all Barber halves. This Premium Gem is a glaring exception with complete definition on the stars, tailfeathers, fletchings, and claws. Even the right shield corner is strongly impressed. Softly frosted luster percolates through delightful, original patina in shades of green, blue, gold, and violet. A couple of tiny flecks occur in the lower-right obverse field. Population: 7 in 66 (1 in 66+), 2 finer (11/16).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24N2, PCGS# 6510, Greysheet# 6610)
