Description
Bright, Lustrous MS66 1908-O Barber Half
1908-O 50C MS66 PCGS. This is a beautifully preserved representative of this popular O-mint issue with a slightly above average strike. Both sides are essentially brilliant, save for the slightest hint of pale rose color. The obverse is unusually well defined, however, the eagle's neck, right talon, and right shoulder are slightly weak. The surfaces are smooth and shimmer displaying full, frosty luster. Despite its incomplete strike, this is an attractive, original Premium Gem that would fit nicely into a high grade collection. Population: 16 in 66, 12 finer (8/08).From The Bell Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
