largely ivory-gray color, with amber-gold and lavender toning
throughout the right obverse margin, and sea-green in the right
reverse margin. Well-struck design elements contribute to pleasing
visual appeal. The 1909 Barber half dollar is rarely offered in
MS66, and no numerically finer pieces are reported. This
