Description

1910 Half Dollar, MS66
Outstanding, Shimmering Luster

1910 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. The 1910 Barber half dollar is one of the less recognized, but more important Philadelphia Mint issues in the series, with a mintage of only 418,000 coins. With just six similarly graded pieces at PCGS and none finer (6/15), the present example is of great importance to Registry Set competitors. Aside from the usual weakness at the junction of the shield and right (facing) wing, the motifs are well-defined. This piece is fully lustrous with frosty surfaces that exhibit a faint trace of speckled gold toning.
