Rare Gem 1912 Barber Half

1912 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. With a large mintage of 1.5 million pieces, the 1912 Barber half dollar is readily available in lower grades, but it is one of the most difficult issues of the series to locate at the Gem level. The present coin is well preserved, with pristine fields. The surfaces are graced by iridescent shades of crimson, gray, and blue toning. Population: 17 in 65, 2 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N2998)
