1912-D 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. While it may surprise some that PCGS has certified 15 Premium Gem MS66 examples of this issue, even more surprising is the realization that they have yet to certify a finer quality piece. The obverse of Dale Friend's Premium Gem is boldly defined, while the reverse has weakness right of the shield, and at the arrow feathers and tail feathers. Both sides have light silver-gray luster with fully brilliant mint frost. The surfaces are accented through pale champagne toning and peripheral iridescence. Population: 15 in 66, 0 finer (10/08).
