Description
Sharp, Lustrous 1912-S Barber Half, MS65
1912-S 50C MS65 PCGS. A Gem-condition example of the 1912-S is just about as nice as most collectors could ever hope to find, as only seven coins at PCGS and eight coins at NGC--minus the inevitable duplications--have been certified finer (8/08). This specimen displays mottled olive and powder-gray patina on both sides, with a nearly full strike and considerable luster.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24NJ, PCGS# 6526, Greysheet# 6621)
