Eliasberg's Choice Mint State 1892-S Quarter
1892-S 25C MS64 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Eliasberg. Type One Reverse. An exquisitely struck near-Gem that has flashy luster and faint yellow-brown color. The reverse is gorgeously preserved, while the obverse is also clean. The upper reverse is lightly strike doubled. Housed in a green label holder, and with an irrefutably desirable pedigree. Population: 17 in 64, 12 finer (4/09).Ex: Purchased by J.M. Clapp directly from the Philadelphia Mint; John H. Clapp; Clapp Estate, 1942; Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection (Bowers and Merena, 4/1997), lot 1547, where it realized $3,520.(Registry values: N1793)
