1895 25C MS65 NGC. This is a wonderful coin, a sparkling example with mint glow boldly enhanced by the flowing satin surfaces toned to an attractive mix of harvest gold and white. The eagle is fully pronounced, with only trivial marks appearing on the cheek. The mintage for this date may not indicate a rarity, but in MS65 and better this coin becomes almost unattainable. Population: 15 in 65, 13 finer (8/01).
