    Description

Colorful 1895-O Quarter, Condition Census Status

1895-O 25C MS 66 NGC. A coin for the toning enthusiast. The bold target toning on the reverse begins with green-gold iridescence about the denticles. Bright electric-blue and crimson shades then follow before culminating in warm apricot-golden color over the centers. The obverse is similar in appearance with the exception of a more pronounced crimson cast.
The 1895-O is a noteworthy rarity with expertly preserved surfaces. This is an intensely lustrous Gem that retains its mark-free appearance even under a loupe. A simply gorgeous coin that is fully deserving of its low-end Condition Census status. This coin shares the MS 66 level with only two other coins between both NGC and PCGS, and it is bettered by three pieces (2/00).
From the Dale Krueger Collection. (NGC ID# 23Y5, PCGS# 5611)
