Exquisite Gem 1895-S Quarter
1895-S 25C MS65 NGC. Lawrence-101. The mintmark is obviously repunched. Brilliant save for glimpses of gold along the borders. This handsome Gem has clean surfaces and mildly prooflike fields. The strike is unimprovable, and only faint contact on the portrait prevents a higher grade. Census: 7 in 65, 5 finer (11/08).From The Plymouth Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
