1895-S 25C MS65 PCGS. DL-101. Ex: Friend-R.S.D. Collection. The mintmark is repunched west on this variety. As a date, the 1895-S Barber quarter is rare in this condition, and few pieces are known finer. This Gem displays a sharp strike and satiny mint luster. Attractive rainbow toning forms concentric rings around each side. Population: 9 in 65, 7 finer (4/19).Ex: ANA Signature (Heritage, 7-8/2008), lot 267, which realized $2,645.(Registry values: N2998)
