Desirable Fine 15 1896-S Quarter
1896-S 25C Fine 15 PCGS. CAC. The first of the three famous S-mint Barber quarter rarities struck and the only one with a six-figure mintage, the 1896-S has been a collector favorite for decades. This amber-tinged slate-gray example shows the effects of years of circulation--even wear with a number of abrasions--yet the eye appeal holds together.
