Description

1898-O Quarter, MS64
Lustrous and Well-Struck

1898-O 25C MS64 PCGS. This is an extremely attractive near-Gem example of this early O-mint Barber quarter issue, showing no obvious signs of contact on the lustrous, reflective silver-gray surfaces and a strike that is virtually impeccable. The oft-problematic right shield corner is fully brought up, but minor weakness appears on the right claw. Gem examples of this issue appear seldom at auction.(Registry values: N2998)
