    Description

Uncommonly Well Preserved 1899-O Quarter, MS 66

1899-O 25C MS 66 PCGS. Much like the 1898-O, although to a slightly lesser degree, the 1899-O quarter was not preserved in significant numbers at the time of issue. This is a Condition Census representative whose untoned surfaces are dripping with mint frost. The devices are free of the uneven striking characteristics that often plague O-mint Barber coinage. Smooth, appealing, and worthy of a carefully considered bid. NGC and PCGS combined show a population of four coins at the 66 level, two in 67, and none finer (2/00).
From the Dale Krueger Collection. (NGC ID# 23YH, PCGS# 5623)

    Weight: 6.25 grams
