1899-S Quarter, Toned MS66
1899-S 25C MS66 PCGS. Variegated aqua-blue, lavender, and yellowish-gold toning cascades over the obverse of this Premium Gem ceding to a medley of russet, gray, and lavender on the reverse. The design elements are crisply defined, including the upper-right shield corner, the eagle's plumage and claws, and the arrow feathers. This low-mintage (708,000 pieces) Barber is very scarce in all grades and rare in MS66 and finer.
