Description
1900 Quarter, Sharply Struck MS67
Vividly Toned and Attractive
1900 25C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1900 Barber quarter is scarce
in the Gem level of preservation and rare any finer. A melange of
electric-blue, lavender, gold-orange, and violet patination adorns
both sides of this Superb Gem, being just a touch deeper on the
reverse. Sharply struck design elements are apparent throughout,
and neither side reveals mentionable marks. The outstanding eye
appeal is appropriately recognized by CAC. NGC and PCGS each show
four submissions in MS67, but one MS68 at NGC is finer (11/15).Ex: Purchased by Eugene Gardner from Larry Whitlow (4/2001); Eugene H. Gardner Collection, Part III (Heritage, 5/2015), lot 98403.(Registry values: N2998)
