Gem 1900-S Quarter Condition Rarity
1900-S 25C MS 65 PCGS. Isolated islands of gray color float over both sides, but apricot iridescence dominates the outward appearance of this coin. The rich endowment of mint luster rolls around the surfaces uninhibited by even the smallest distraction. Although this issue's mintage is 1,150,585 pieces more than that of the preceding S-mint quarter, both the 1900-S and 1899-S are equally elusive in the preferred Mint State grades. Population: 4 in 65, with 4 finer (4/00).From the Dale Krueger Collection.
