    Description

    Attractive Premium Gem 1901 Quarter

1901 25C MS66 PCGS. The 1901 quarter comes with a substantial mintage of nearly 9 million pieces, but Mint State examples are in no way common. Indeed, PCGS and NGC combined have certified around 250 coins in the Uncirculated grades. In Premium Gem, the grade of the piece offered in this lot, only 13 examples have been certified, and none finer. Radiant luster is emitted from both sides, with the obverse toned medium orange and purple with electric-blue accents. The reverse is toned light purple, primarily around the peripheries. The design elements are sharply struck, and the few miniscule marks on Liberty's face and neck do not distract.(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 23YN, PCGS# 5628)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
