Description
Collectible 1901-S Quarter, Good 4
1901-S 25C Good 4 PCGS. Medium gray patina in the fields highlights the lighter gray devices on this key date representative. Liberty's lower ear shows as does part of the lower Y in LIBERTY, and the obverse rim is outlined. On the reverse, the letters RIB and first U of PLURIBUS UNUM are clear and most of the left and right shield sides are delineated from the eagle. The peripheral lettering is visible though parts of QUARTER DOLLAR are merged with the rim. Both sides are remarkably clean for a coin having seen heavy circulation. A perfectly acceptable coin for a low- to mid-grade Barber quarter collection.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23YR, PCGS# 5630, Greysheet# 5432)
Weight: 6.25 grams
