1903-S 25C MS65 PCGS. This crisply struck Gem is draped in dusky tan-gold and cream-gray toning. Satin luster traverses surfaces unabraded save for subtle contact on Liberty's jaw and the lower portion of the shield. The lower mintage 1903-S, one of just over 1 million pieces struck, is scarce and sought-after in grades of Fine or better. Certified in a green label holder. Population: 13 in 65, 10 finer (4/09).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2005), lot 6017.(Registry values: N2998)
