1905-O Quarter Dollar, MS66
Conditionally Rare
1905-O 25C MS66 NGC. CAC. The 1905-O is a better date. Among
New Orleans issues of the series, only the 1909-O has a lower
mintage. Uncirculated examples are very scarce yet surprisingly
affordable. Only a handful of '05-O halves can compete with the
present Premium Gem, which boasts unabraded surfaces and potent
cartwheel luster. Essentially brilliant, and nicely struck with
only minor incompleteness near the fletchings. Census: 2 in 66, 1
