    Description

Nearly Perfect MS67 1905-O Barber Quarter

1905-O 25C MS67 PCGS. Termed "the most underrated date in the set" by David Lawrence, the 1905-O is also a major condition rarity. This is the only MS67 certified by PCGS, and NGC has also graded one (10/03). This is a fresh coin that has been in the same collection for at least twenty years. The surfaces are simply phenomenal. Liberty's cheek is smooth and unblemished as well as the rest of the coin, the striking details are uncommonly strong for an O-mint with full definition on the eagle's talons, and the mint luster is thick and satiny. Both sides are covered with smoky-gray and deep blue toning, in differing amounts on obverse and reverse. An absolutely amazing 1905-O that is sure to set a new record for this issue.(#5640) (Registry values: N7079) (NGC ID# 23Z3, PCGS# 5640)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
