Description
Frosty Premium Gem 1907 Barber Quarter
1907 25C MS66 PCGS. One would not think the 1907 Barber quarter, with a generous mintage exceeding 7 million pieces, would be elusive, even in the finer Mint State grades. One would be wrong: PCGS and NGC combined have certified only two dozen examples in this grade, with less than a half-dozen finer (8/08). Frosty luster emanates from this splendid silver-gray example, with just a touch of iridescent cinnamon toning near the rims on each side. Population: 15 in 66, 1 finer (8/08).From The Bell Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
