Elusive 1907-O Quarter in Gem Mint State
1907-O 25C MS 65 NGC. Like most of the O-mint issues in this series, the 1907-O is readily available in circulated grades, yet noticeably scarce in pristine Mint State preservation. This is an elusive Gem whose lustrous surfaces are fully appreciable beneath the thin veil of milky-silver iridescence. Remarkably well impressed for an O-mint Barber quarter, the eagle's portrait is free of the often-seen bluntness over the feathers and talons. Typically distraction-free for the grade. Population: 10 in 65, only 5 finer (5/00).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZA, PCGS# 5647, GSID# 5443)
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
