Description
Lustrous 1907-S Gem Quarter
1907-S 25C MS65 PCGS. Deep electric-blue, purple, and golden-tan patination concentrates at the borders of this highly lustrous Gem S-mint quarter, yielding to whispers of gold-tan and sky-blue in the obverse center and an untoned reverse central area. A relatively sharp strike brings out nice detail on the design elements, except for the usual weakness in the upper right shield corner. A couple of hair-thin linear marks are visible on Liberty's jaw.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZB, PCGS# 5648, Greysheet# 5444)
