1908-S 25C MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1908-S is surprisingly scarce in Mint State grades and rare at the near-Gem or finer level. This is a brilliant Choice Uncirculated example with vibrantly lustrous, frosted surfaces and an overall sharp strike, although the right (facing) talons and arrow fletchings are soft. A loupe reveals faint roller marks that run diagonally across Liberty's cheek, virtually invisible in-hand. Population: 21 in 64 (1 in 64+), 25 finer. CAC: 6 in 64, 15 finer (4/19).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 23ZF, PCGS# 5652)
