    1909-S 25C MS67 NGC. This is an exceptionally well-preserved example with semiprooflike fields and light iridescent toning. The eagle's right (facing) talons show the only mentionable design weakness, although faint die striations can be discerned across the high points of the central devices, not completely struck out of the planchet during production. Census: 3 in 67, 0 finer (1/17).(Registry values: N4719)
