    Description

Sharply Struck, Condition Census 1911-D Quarter

1911-D 25C MS 66 PCGS. Since most of the 933,600 quarters produced by the Denver Mint in 1911 have been worn or lost due to circulation, this fully lustrous, pristine survivor should elicit strong bids from demanding date collectors. Both sides are frosty in texture with soft dove-gray patina. An isolated island of olive-gold iridescence is also noted in the obverse field before Liberty's face. Both the two MS 66 specimens and the single MS 67 example reported by PCGS are superior to any coins so far certified by NGC (2/00).
From the Dale Krueger Collection. (NGC ID# 23ZP, PCGS# 5660)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
