    Description

Magnificent 1912-S MS 67 Barber Quarter

1912-S MS 67 NGC. As an issue, the low mintage (708,000 pieces) 1912-S is one of the most difficult Barber quarters in the entire series in Mint State. Those few pieces known to exist in Uncirculated grades are generally in the MS 62 to MS 65 range. Above that level, the '12-S is exceedingly rare. Even a casual student of grading can easily recognize the quality of this magnificent piece. The shimmering surfaces are essentially blemish-free with blushes of reddish-gold toning on the highpoints, lightening to delicate gold in the recessed areas. Population: 1 in 67, none finer (1/99). (NGC ID# 23ZT, PCGS# 5663)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
