1913 Barber Quarter, MS65
Only One Finer NGC Coin
1913 25C MS65 NGC. Both sides of this powder-gray 1913
Barber quarter show remarkably few abrasions (other than a couple
of tiny ones on the cheek), with generous luster and faint
pinkish-gold tinges. The strike is close to full, with weakness
solely on the right (facing) shield corner. Seldom seen in finer
grades, unsurprisingly so, given the mintage of less than a
half-million pieces. Census: 9 in 65, 1 finer (11/11).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZU, PCGS# 5664, GSID# 5409)
