    Description

    1913 Barber Quarter, MS65
    Challenging Date in High Grade

1913 25C MS65 PCGS. This Philadelphia issue is overshadowed by its rare San Francisco Mint counterpart, the 1913-S quarter, but it is scarce in its own right with a mintage of less than 500,000 pieces, and it is conditionally rare in Gem or finer grades. Brilliant, frost-white surfaces display strong silver luster and a complete absence of toning. A strong strike is full everywhere except for the slightest blending on the arrow fletchings and the right shield corner. There are no marks to mention on the flashy, silver-white surfaces. Population: 31 in 65 (1 in 65+), 7 finer (2/14).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 23ZU, PCGS# 5664)

    Weight: 6.25 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
