Description
1913-S 25C VG8 PCGS. The low mintage of just 40,000 pieces makes this San Francisco issue one of a trio of S-Mint "stoppers" in the series. This example is considerably worn but still a nice addition to a circulated set. Dove-gray surfaces show weak but legible letters LI-TY of LIBERTY on the obverse. The reverse is more deeply toned in medium-gray and gold shades, with nearly complete rims but sparse wing detail.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZW, PCGS# 5666, Greysheet# 5456)
