Description
1914-D Barber Quarter, MS66+
Conditionally Rare
1914-D 25C MS66+ PCGS. Like many Barber quarters, the 1914-D
is a relatively plentiful issue that is easily located in lower
Mint State grades through MS64. Even Gem specimens are available
with a little searching. However, in grades finer than MS65, such
as this Premium Gem, examples are rarely seen in the marketplace.
This lovely specimen is frosty and highly lustrous with so much
brilliance that no light is needed. Other than a tiny gold spot at
the jaw, there is no toning on either side. Population: 8 in 66, 2
finer (9/11).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZY, PCGS# 5668, Greysheet# 5457)
