Description

1916 25C MS65 PCGS. Both Barber and Standing Liberty quarters were struck in 1916, and although the former is significantly more available, it is nonetheless conditionally scarce in high Uncirculated grades. Mottled russet and deep green toning surrounds the perimeter of the obverse, which contrasts nicely against the lightly toned reverse. A trace of softness on the tip of the right (facing) wing is the only perceptible sign of weakness on this satiny Gem. Population: 45 in 65, 24 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)
