1916-D 25C MS66 PCGS. Lovely mauve-gray color decorates the well struck surfaces of this exemplary piece, which has notable technical merit as well as splendid visual appeal to recommend it. Dappled russet patina is sprinkled throughout, and there is a dark toning spot at the left reverse border, above the T in UNITED. An exquisitely preserved and conditionally scarce premium quality Gem. Population: 60 in 66, 3 finer (8/03).
