With the Standing Liberty design delayed so much during 1916, the vast majority of quarters from that year are of the Barber design, with over three-quarters of the total production taking place at Denver. This strongly lustrous Premium Gem is exquisitely preserved beneath vivid, dappled russet, ocean-blue, and amber patina. Population: 88 in 66, 6 finer (8/08).(Registry values: N2998)
