Description

1901-S Barber Quarter, AG3
Charming Low-Grade Example

1901-S 25C AG3 PCGS. Light to medium gray patina in the fields accents the central devices of this key-date quarter. All elements are outlined on the obverse, and portions of the ear and eye show on Liberty. The center of the reverse displays a modicum of internal detail, and the rim has worn into one-half to two-thirds of the legend. The date and mintmark are both strong. The surfaces reveal a few of the expected circulation marks, but these are neither serious nor detracting. A great specimen for the budget-minded collector.
