Leopold I gold 25 Francs 1848 MS64 NGC, Brussels mint, KM13.1. A highly collectible two-year type that has seen its star rise in recent years, especially when seen in choice states of preservation and finer. The current example remains exemplary, with slightly muted aurous luster to the obverse that is most certainly made up for on the reverse, traversing harvest-gold engraved details and only the trivial grade-limiting handling wisp.From the GK Collection
