1739 Admiral Vernon Medal, Porto Bello, Adams-PBvb-9-O, R.8 -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. VF. Ex: Admiral Vernon Collection. Copper alloy. 37 mm. This variety is very rare. The Adams-Chao plate coin is imaged courtesy of the British Museum. This example shows moderate wear and has lightly pitted fields, but its deep olive-brown patina is pleasing. Obverse 9 and the various reverse paired with it show border dentils.Auction Info
