Description
1783 Peace of Versailles Medal, Bronze MS60 Uncertified. Betts-611. 42 mm, 29.7 gm. Plain edge. Obverse rim die breaks at 4:30 and between 7 and 8 o'clock, as seen on the Ford:XIV pieces. Medium brown with attractive orange and plum-red undertones. Well struck and free from wear, but the edges are lightly filed, particularly on the die breaks, likely as issued.Auction Info
