    Description

Liberty Half Eagles: 1857 XF 45, strictly original with ample luster in the protected areas; 1873 Open 3 XF 40, a touch of softness on the eagle's neck and the arrow feathers spoils an AU bid; 1878 AU 50 Polished, little actual wear can be found on this slightly dulled example; and an 1880-S AU 50 Cleaned, the obverse is flashy and extensively hairlined while the reverse is lackluster from the obvious cleaning.
